I did watch a US Senate hearing chaired by Sen. Carl Levin who is the point guy in the government addressing the issue shortly after the last mid term. He put the cc companies on notice that there WILL be regulatory changes and has given keynote addresses to groups regarding same. Chris Dodd is in on the action too.
