Best credit report to see if everything is reporting correct?

We filed chapter 7 at the end of march, had our 341 meeting at the end of last month. Today I ran our credit reports to see how the accounts are reporting and only a few are showing as included in bankruptcy. I ran transunion and experian. Now there is a new collection on the report for $62 from a collection company we have never gotten a letter from. It's a small medical debt that we actually paid to the hospital after it went to collections. It looks like the original collection company transfered the $62 to another collection agency. Do we contact the new collection agency and give them our case number? The original collection company doesn't show on the credit reports anymore.
    Thanks

I used Truecredit for a month...

I know for a fact that it wasn't accurate (at least on the Equifax portion).
Accounts that are closed and satisfactory were showing open with Truecredit, balances were different on truecredit than they were the others (I pulled EX-EQ individually). I cancelled the service.

As for the collection issue, I'd get a copy of the cancelled check that you paid directly to the hospital and contact the collection agency. I would also contact the hospital and let them know the situation, and see if they won't correct it.

Yes, I used true credit. I used the free trial offer and I am going to cancel it asap. It's worthless.
I can't get a copy of the cancelled check because we closed the account and switched banks. I already tried, they may be able to do it but it will cost money, I think close to $40. I am not too worried about the $62 debt, it's included in the BK, the collection company that had it before was notified but they don't even show up anymore on the credit report. The debt is 2 years old.
I also called the hospital and they told me the balance is zero.
I guess all I can do is let the collection company that took over the $62 debt and give them our filing information, right?

I know it's only a $62 bill, it's annoying, and not worth the expense of chasing it. But I would think the hospital has the obligation of making things right, paticularly that they should be able to tell you when the payment posted. After all, it was THEY who turned it for collections.

I'd go after them, just because. It's the prinicple of the thing.

And I had something similar happen...6 months later, the collection finally went away, my crdit score restored AND...turns out I overpaid the medical bill, so I go a refund from the medical provider.

It's weird, the hospital told me that the balance is zero but they can't locate the payment. The check cleared in August 06. I have a bank statement that shows that the check cleared but of course it doesn't show me who cashed it,just the date and amount. It would cost almost as much as the debt for the bank to do the research.
