Filed today! No idea how to work PACER. Didn't make it in time to...

... stop husband's garnishment of his May 30th check. Bummer. Our attorney called the garnishing attorney today, but of course, he was out and the paralegal wouldn't do anything without his say so. Even though we have a case number and all she had to do was send a fax to my husband's company telling them to stop the garnishment.

Oh well. Our attorney says that we'll get the money refunded.

So, I registered on PACER but I don't have any clue as to how to work the site. How do I search for myself?

Lord, I hope this goes smoothly. I don't think my marriage can take anymore bumps right now.

To search for yourself in PACER go to the district that you filed in and the easiest way is to search by SSN.

Since the filing occurred before the garnishment then yes it should be refunded, but that might take a few weeks just so your aware.
