Received letter w/ several dates, what do they mean?

We filed on the 19th of May. Today I received a letter with lots of info on it. It has the name of our lawyer, trustee & judge as well as several dates. Can someone please tell me what these dates mean?

Meeting of Creditors 06/23 (I know what this one is

Deadline to object to Exemptions 30 days after the conclusion of the creditor meeting.

Deadline to file a complaint objection to discharge of the debtor or to determine dischargeability of certain debts 8/22/08 (This one is the one I am confused by, what is this date??)

    Thanks much

    Okay,
The meeting of the Creditors is your 341 meeting, which you and your attorney attend. This also give creditors the opportunity to attend if they wish.

The letter about the deadlines to Object....... this is a copy of the letter sent to all your creditors listed on your Matrix (your petition). This letter tells them they have 60 days to file for claims or file objections to you filing bankrutpcy against them.

The only one you really need to make sure that you atten is the 341 Meeting.

    Hope this helps.....

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
