My BK was discharged recently, and my girlfriend and I will be buying a home in Nov/Dec. She has a 740 fico and makes a very nice salary, so we are already approved for a zero down loan for more than we need.
My question is this: I will be paying 1/2 the mortgage payment, so I want to be on the deed. Will our rates be affected if I am on the mortgage as well? Or do they just use the individual with the best credit to determine the rate?
