When will it close?

My info on pacer lists the last day for objections as 7/11. But it also lists last day for claims as 8/21. So will my case not be discharged or closed until after the august date or will 7/11 still be likely discharge date?

I believe objections and claims are different issues.

Your BK WILL BE discharged within a few days to a week after 7/11 if there are no objections (to your discharge). After your discharge, your creditors have up to 8/21 to file a Proof of Claims. I believe the filing of claims is pretty much standard. If you are an asset case, the filing of claims is so your creditors can receive something from the asset. Mostly, this is money the Trustee was able to get from your asset....usually, this is a portion of IRS refunds.

origionally I went pro se and made mistakes by not exempting my checking accounts, federal and state returns and stimulus check. So I was going to have to pay back $2500 and lose a 2nd property as well as having $600 taken from my account by the trustee. Hired an attorney who ammended most of the petition and exempted the checking accts, fed and state refunds, and the stimulus check as well as the 2nd property. So they aren't getting any of it and I should be getting the $600 back also. It's been almost two weeks since ammendments and trustee has nor objected yet. So now it's wait and see.
