    Credit Score/Report ??'s

Does your credit score take the biggest hit the day you file? My husband and I filed at the end of May. We just checked our credit score tonight. Pre-Filing mine was 660, now it is 524. My husband's Pre-filing was was 651, and is now 599.

On our report some of our accounts are noted as discharged through Bankruptcy. Is this common, even though we haven't had our 341 meeting yet? Our 1st mortgage is discharged/closed, but our 2nd mortgage is still open. Does this mean they are going to try to dispute it?

    Any comments/thoughts would be appreciated.

Sounds pretty normal based what my credit report said and what I've read here. My credit report looked similar to yours in the beginning when I first filed, as soon as they are notified that you filed they immediately report to the bureaus even though you haven't had your 341 yet. I filed on 5/1 and all my accounts are reflected correctly on my CR..
    Filed ch7 on 5/1
    341 went smooth on 6/10
    8/12 Order discharging debtor
    8/26/2008 CASE CLOSED!!!
