Filing C7 personal with rental properties

Will be filing later this week. We have 6 rentals, 3 of which are occupied. We are giving them all up.

Has anyone been asked in their meeting with either trustee whether or not they were still collecting rent but not paying the mortgage on the ones that were still occupied?

Yes, you will probably be asked that, but at the same time, it is pretty much assumed that is what you were doing.

The other issue with rentals is the deposit. You cannot discharge the deposits that the renters gave you.

I actually was planning on returning deposits.
