    70 days still no discharge

Well, I thought I would be discharged by now but I read the thread about 61 days and no discharge ugggg. We are at 70 days and no discharge. If I call the courts to ask about this what department do I ask for??

    Thanks Cindy

You would ask for the Court Clerks office.

It really depends on how busy the court is as to when you will receive your discharge.

Well I am in east central Florida so I'm sure they are probably pretty busy.

      Thanks Cindy

I have been discharge today. Jun 18. 100 days after my 341 meeting.

My case was almost forgotten by the adm office. It was just sitting
        there.

I had to call the court several times. Stay on top of it because
nobody will look after you once your attorney has collected all the fees.

        Best of luck.

With the rising number of bankruptcies it does appear it is taking longer than usual. Just hang in there .
May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer
          July 2nd, 2007: 341 Meeting Held
September 4th, 2007: Discharged and Closed.

Mine took 90+ days after the 341 instead of the usual 60-70.
Living in a high-population or high bankrutpcy area causes back ups and sometimes you have to wait longer.

At 75 days I called the clerk's office and she told me that it sometimes takes 90 days here.

It does not hurt to call, just be polite and inquire if they might be able to help you. If you are lucky you may get one who will look in the stack, pull your's up and do the work! Or if you're unlucky as I was they will look but not find it and you'll have to wait... ;(

But if you had no objections within the 60 days and your case is declared no asset then you really have nothing to worry about.

FINALLY DISCHARGED 92 DAYS AFTER THE 341! A NEW START!!!
