On our page that says - deadlines hearings - There is an entry dated the day we filed and the deadline set is August 11, 2008 - and it says "Government Proof of Claim" What is that? We filed in Feb. - last day for creditors to object was May 19 - no objections - declared no asset - I am just waiting for the discharge - But i DOn't know what this is - I think it has been there all along I just never noticed that Aug. 11 date. It is exactly 6 months after the date we filed. Can anyone tell me if this means anything? Also - I read the sticky on waiting for discharge and it suggested calling the court to check the status - It has been almost a month since the last day for creditors to object - the only phone number I could find for the court put me through to an automated system that just gave all the basics ofour case - except it said our last day for creditors to object is Aug. 11 - which is the date I mentioned earlier in this thread. So now I am confused and I don't know of another phone # to try to call. My attny is checking into it but who knows when we'll hear back from him!
