When my 90 day mark's come and gone and not a
word from the court I started to make noise.
On day 99 and nothing I made my first call to the court.
I called the court - I was super nice - spoke with
the adm manager. First she said I had not received my
discharged because I did not qualify for it!!! WTH!
I asked her why not and she said I had not completed all
my requiments. BULL! After checking my file I was told that
they're waiting for my reaffirmation approval. Needless to say
she was way off base. Then she told me to call her assistant
by Friday - I had to wait the whole week. It was hard to swallow.
So I call her again and then called her assistant today, who was very
helpful and friendly. After putting on hold for few minutes, she
came back telling that my case had just received the discharge.
I could not believe it. I almost called back to double check.
Few hours later I checked PACER and the status had already changed.
My attorney? What a waste. He told me that he was very busy and
he could only call the court in a week or two.
The point is: keep on checking on your case and dont be afraid to call.
I wish the best for all the members here.
I will keep checking this forum to see if I can be of help.
God Bless.
