Can I drop timeshare after my discharge?

At the time of my filing I stated that I wanted to keep
my timeshare. Since then I received my discharge and
started to rethink weather I should keep it or not.

I just made a payment after a 12 month lapse in payments.

Just pulled my CR and it shows no payment record whatsoever.

Can I just drop it at this point?

Did you sign a formal reaffirmation agreement? If not, just stop paying-the debt was discharged.

I called them and they told me I can surrender the
property with no penalties. That's what I am going to do.

What timeshare did that? I own one that I have been trying to get out of since the day I bought it during a temporary lapse of sanity! I've never even stayed there!
