Finally filed....how long until we are cntacted?

We filed on Monday the 23rd. How long until we hear when our 341 is? The attorney said that its' generally4-5 weeks out here in NV, but do they send out letters right away?

It took two weeks for me to find out, but communication with my lawyer was really poor. If you get a PACER account you will find out what's going on before your lawyer passes the info. on or you receive notice by mail.

Pacer told us the date the day after it was filed. The court sent us our Bk notice and the date of the 341 8 days after we filed. The attorney sent us our 341 information about 14 days after we filed. Our 341 was just a little more than 3 weeks so I was glad for Pacer. If I had waited on the attorney we would have had a week to prepare!

You should be able to go on Pacer and get it now. Just read the sticky on Pacer so you don't click the wrong thing by mistake and get charged a bunch of dollars for nothing...

TIP: IF you do run your charges up past the $8? I think they allow you, and if you are filing jointly, then stop using that account and open a new pacer account in your spouse's name.
