School costs allowed??

Hello All !!
We are thinking we are going to have to file chapter 7 and have a question about school tuition. My daughter goes to a private christian school because we refuse to send her to our public school. It is actually associated with our church. Her tuition a month is around $300. That is not counting before and after school latch key costs. Is this a justifiable expense?? I thought I read somewhere on here that someone had private school tuition and it was not questioned. Any ideas ??? Thanks

$300 per month is probably not enough to raise a concern, but yes, private school tuition can cause problems in Bankruptcy, it just depends on your circumstances.

Thanks HHM !! She is in the 4th grade and has been going there since kindergarten. Hopefully it won't be a problem.
