Why is case not closed?

We filed Ch 7 Bk in January, Middle district in Florida. We had 341 in February. Discharge of debtor filed 5/30. Trustee filed report of No distribution on 6/12. No other filings or correspondence since then. Countrywide has not filed foreclosure yet - we stopped paying November 07. Why would our case not be closed? Would Countrywide be waiting for it to close to file foreclosure? (They did already get relief from stay per Pacer) Our attorney does not think we should push the issue. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Vernors, if your case has been discharged and you are No Asset, I would call the BK Clerk and ask them why the case is still listed as Open. It could just be an oversight. I wouldn't worry about Countrywide. Good luck.
