Heard from my Attorney today (8/8)

I heard from my attorney today. At our 341 on 6/16 the US Trustee representative pointed out an error on one of the schedules regarding our van, which we are keeping, and questioned us about our expenses.

Today, the attorney call and let me know they the US Trustee office contacted him requesting that this error be fixed. So, I picked up the paper and took it home, my wife and I signed, and I returned it.

Now, 8/15/05 is supposed to be the last date for any objections to discharge. Is it likely that if the US Trustee was going to make us do a 13 that they would also have brought that up at this point? I.e., if they were going to make us file a 13 would they make us fix an error on the Ch7 petition?

My attorney did not seem concerned about this.

    thanks

Your attorney is probably right - just a formality in paperwork...
Be patient - hope for the best.....

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

Minny is right...take it from someone who knows if they were going to try and convert you to a Chapter 13 the trustee would take more action than a simple phone call to your attorney. Sounds like a paperwork issue; I wouldnt worry about it.
