    Panic

There's A Creditor Calling Several Times At My Husbands Job. We Can't Figure Out Which Creditor It Is Because He Doesn't Leave A Number. My Husbands Boss Got The Call Today And The Goy Was Very Beligerant And My Husbands Boss Was Not Happy. Then When My Husband Got To The Phone The Guy Hung Up. What Can We Do? We're Not Able To File Till The End Of Month And My Husband Doesn't Want To Loose His Job. We Do Have A Lawyer.

    Thanks For Any Help.

Contact your lawyer ASAP. My lawyer said to just tell creditors that you are in the process of filing for bankruptcy and to leave his name and number with them. Not really sure what to do if the guy won't talk to you??

If your filing at the end of the month, go ahead and retain your lawyer. He will send out a letter of intent to file to that creditor!!
He won't file your paperwork till you pay him in full anyways!! But he still can put the clamps on the creditors if needed.

In fact you can send out the letter of intent yourself to the creditors - but looks better coming from your lawyer...

Don't panic out - your husband cannot be fired for claiming bankruptcy...... that could constitute a legal action....

Surely someone at the office has caller id to show where the call is coming from??

      Let us know what happens..

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
