Ok, wish me luck. Today is my 341. I am nervous, but I'm maintaining. I just want this to be over so I can stop worrying. I'm sitting here just waisting time, because I know I will get there too early. I will give an update after this is over. I'm learning so much from this site that I probably should not be worried, but I am.

You will find that the 341 is not as ominous as you think. It is perfectly normal to be anxious about it but once it is over you will wonder what you were so nervous about. Typically, creditors do not show up and if everything (paperwork, etc) is in order you should be fine. Let us know how it goes.

You'll be okay - its really painless......mostly formality.....
Just be honest, answer all questions, yes or no unless otherwise asked....
Let us know how it went.....

A Piece Of Cake..........
Oh my gosh!!! It didn't even take 5 minutes. I was the second one on the list. The trustee asked me some questions, and then told me I was free to go. The guy in front of me was asked questions about the mobile home he is sharing with his mother, and the fact that he has a motor cycle and F-150 P/U that he stated his mother drives. I got a little nervous for him because after he said his mother drove the P/U, he turned around and said that he was taking care of his ill mother. I thought I would be grilled, but I have nothing. I don't own a home, so no assets. He asked me about the $17,000 plus back child support that is owed to me. I responded that I will probably never see it. My experience was great. Just think, I got myself worked up for nothing. I guess now is the time to WAIT until discharge. I signed up for Pacer today, and will start checking once I receive my password in the mail (I signed up without a credit/debit card). This site has been wonderful. Thanks for all of the continued help!!!

See, it's almost "painless", huh???
Now the waiting game on the creditors...... And most of them if not all of them - will not waste their time objecting.
As far as the back child support - the Trustee (I think) can and could possibly go after that from your ex......if the state doesn't get it first. Existing incoming child support is exempt for you, but I'm not sure how they would handle "back owed child support".
Maybe HHM or Todd could answer that for us???
Have a cold one, RELAX, wait on that discharge!!!
