What to claim for withholdings [Archive]

So I've seen the IRS worksheet for figuring out withholdings but I'm lost - it doesn't seem to make sense to me!!! Anyone have a quick easy way or easy calculator to figure out what our withholdings should be? I just want to get this over with so we can take that extra tax money and start SAVING, but man, I can't seem to make sense of it. Anyone have tips???

And claiming more than 9 makes us more likely for an audit, right?
