    Should I Amend Creditor's Matrix?

I had an installment loan with Capital One that right before I filed, they recorded as a charge off. I think a law firm bought the date in the days leading up to my filing because I received a notice from them a few days after I had filed, but have heard nothing from them since.

Should I pay the $150 my lawyer charges to amend to actually add this law firm? I mentioned it to her at my 341 but she said as long as the original creditor was listed then it shouldn't matter if it went to collections.

    What is everyone else's experience?

    Thanks!

She's right - as long as the original creditor is listed it doesn't matter. I had the same issue when I filed. My attorney just sent the other attorney a letter advising/notifying them that the original creditor was included in my filing. But make sure that yours does the same.
