We just got done with the 341 meeting today after a continuous. Anyway. a vehicle is involved which I have called Citifinancial Auto about (94 silverado) and they have informed me that they are not coming to get it due to the economic situation involved in getting it. They said call me when you have your discharge and offer them money and they'll sign the title over and send it to me. I talked to my lawyer about this and he said to just call them and tell them to pick it up or send me the title signed. What do you think? What should I do. Its sitting on the street with a flat tire and the plates are expired. Don't want to get it tagged (uses too much gas) but would love to sell it and get something smaller. Ideas??? thanks

Patch the tire, insure it with comp and collision and leave the keys in the ignition with door slightly ajar and just wait...........Disclaimer: I am not an actor on TV, but I play a BK Paralegal in real life. Nothing I say should be construed as legal advice, or really anything but entertainment. Please seek out professional help.

Apparently you haven't read many posts made by me, because if you had you wouldn't ask such a silly question.
You asked a question and I gave suggestions. If you don't like the suggestions, don't do them. And if you don't want to do what is suggested, don't complain about the truck being at your house. Pretty simple to me.

Why would I want to take it to them. Why do them A holes a favor. They can come get it. Do you work for a bank or creditor or something?Last edited by Cali; 08-26-2008, 06:16 PM.

'burks: Do what the liar, er, I mean lawyer says. Write them a certified letter telling then you surrender the vehicle or will abandon it or send the title as it is only good for salvage. THEN if they do that, fix the tire, tag it and you got it free. Sell it later. Or, for the price by pound for steel, get a few bucks. NO big deal. 'HubIf I knew it all, would I be here??
