Too pay or not to pay...still confused. Today is the last day of my 0% credit cards

if I dont pay them. Well I dont have the money to pay the min. which is 284. and 403. I'm not sure if I should call them and ask them to lower my min but I wont say anything about BK..(which I plan to file after Jan or Feb. due to large bal trans. on one of these acts. The other act is going on a year old so I guess that would be considered old debt? Im worried to pay nothing but I cant pay the min. I could find 50. to pay on them do you guys/gals think that would keep them from bugging me or not to even bother? Thanks for any info..

Just bite the bullet and called Citi on both accounts. I couldnt believe what they did.. they were very nice and basically closed the acts temporarily (no biggie I have never charged on their cc except for bal trans) and deferred paymts until Nov 8th with no added interest. Altho they are reporting to my credit report but thats understandable..
I still cant believe they did that. Now come Nov it'll be a totally different story from them I imagine. But at least I can sleep with those two out of the way for awhile.

You did good. You are fortunate and I do believe in my heart, that they know many more of us will be popping up. Things are not going to be bad forever, so they may be wishing you good vibes for the future. I am pleased you got some mental relief.

If you are going to bk in any case, cut the payments, hire your lawyer or go pro se if you can handle that. NOLOPRESS.com has a good C7 book downloadable for 17 bucks.

Hang in there. We made it with many mistakes and a @#$%^^& lawyer. 'Hub

Thanks Hub, yes I am filing but not til Feb, March, or even April if I can handel it. I have stopped with Amer X with only 550 due to them, and one pers Cit thats 2600 and a few other small ones. The bigs are 2 Citi Bus totaling 47k and a B of A for 18k. Because they are mostly new under 6 months Im waiting til they are 9 months just to be sure. I will hire an attorney as soon as I cant stand the calls but I will have to save some, I dont have any money just enough to pay next months rent on home and salon and thats all folks.

Ready - Good for you. Now you can relax for a few months. Are they sending you that in writing? I sent out the cease and descend letters to about 30 something creditors with a certified return receipt and I have not gotten any calls in a while. Now watch the phone starts ringing off the hook tomorrow. LOL. The only Pain in the ass is my equity loan. These people call about 10 times aday. I usually just pick up and hang up. I won't let it get to me. Hang in there and save save save so you can pay the attorney. GOODLUCK.... I hope to be filing in a few weeks.
