Update on 'Christian the Lion'

I just read this news article about the YouTube video of Christian the Lion, that was included with other wildlife videos in the thread:

They had some grrrrrreAT black and white photos I had never seen before. I liked that one where the lion is sleeping with his head on a pillow in the bed. I will like to own that movie. I wonder if it will have the real Christian Lion and the original owners in the movie?

After 39 years, I can't imagine that the original Christian would still be alive.

Also, with George Adamson dead, I don't know who would be familiar with that lion pride and where to find them.

I know that when George and Joy Adamson returned Elsa to the wild, she only lasted about 3-4 years--but it was normal lion wildlife, as much as possibe.

For anyone interested in following this, look for the books, Born Free, Living Free, and Forever Free, by Joy Adamson. These are likely out of print, but may be found in 2nd hand book stores.
