I filed for Chapter 7 on 9/8/08. We had an overdraft account with our credit union. The amount due to pay it off was $498.00. We paid this off before we filed and disclosed this to our attorney. He stated that is shouldn't be a problem since the payment was under $600.00. He asked if I had paid anything else on the account within the past 90 days. Once I went back through my receipts and totaled them up, we ended up paying $623.00. I asked my attorney if he thought this was a problem. He stated that I need to disclose this to the trustee the day of my 341. Has anyone had any experience with this? What are the odds that the trustee might take this money back? It was only over by $23.00.
