    Automatic Discharge showed up today on PACER!!!

    What a relief it was to check PACER today and find that we have been DISCHARGED!!! All that is left now is Awaiting Closing, but I am happy to report that we made it through the 2nd time around.

    Thank you to everyone on this forum for all the support.

                Thank you for all the comments. My case was a little more complicated regarding above-median income, but I still got what I wanted when this all began back in January -- that is, a complete no asset Ch. 7 discharge. My 1st case had some poorly timed income events related to stock options which inflated my income, but the 2nd case went through without a hitch. Now we are onto a new chapter of our lives living completely within our means and without revolving credit cards.

                I have learned a lot through this humbling process...but just remember, it's not about how much you make, but how much you save -- words to live by (and we will going forward).

                Thanks again for all the knowledge, support, encouragement, etc...

                        I'm a little late, but CONGRATS!! I know how much you've been through and I'm so glad you got your discharge the second time around. It is such a relief, and believe it or not you'll stop looking over your shoulder soon!

                            The fact that you are learning to live within your means, and w/o running up bills on plastic, is what it is all about. To hear (see) those words are joyous ones to me, and all the thanks that I need. I am sure many other members here will agree.

                            Sadly, some people will never learn this.
