Discharged August 27th still not closed....

While I know closing is only administrative its really bothering me that they havent closed my case yet!

I am no asset...everything went uneventful.

Could they be waiting for our credit union to sell our car? It was many thousands upside down. There was a stipulation that the CU turn over any proceeds above $7200 to the trustee. Although the paperwork from the CU's attorney says that no additional money is expected.They will be lucky to get $2,000 to $4,000 for it.

Should I call or will that do nothing as far as speeding up those official words "closed"?

Just getting antsy especially after seeing Cali is already closed.

Also some courts only do closing on a certain day of the month. Hang in there it'll be okay

Thanks for your replies... I'll just keep checking. I have checked more since discharge than I did after my 341 although now I know not to click unless the date of the last filing has changed.

They were so fast posting new info. My 341 info was posted about 4 hours after the meeting. I need to practice what I preach as I am always telling my kids to be patient!
