We have had all those kinds of 'come-on' offers too. It's like they know you are trying to get debt free, so they are waving the 'drug of choice' underneath the nose of the recovering debtor. We shred and burn those offers.

Thank you, I really don't think I will ever have a credit card again. Now as far as a car goes I need one. I don't have one now.

There is a place called Good Wheels here in town where they will finance at huge rates and the cars are over priced.

I don't want to spend more than 4k on a used one.

Since I work at home and only use the car to go to Dr's visits, yard sales, the library and lawyers offices, I thought I would buy a SUV, because the prices are so low and I could get more bang for the buck.

The insurance may be more though. But right now I'm feeling releived that I filed and hope the 341 is smooooth sailing...
