I didn't bring anything with me.
The trustee is going to ask you some questions
Like did you sign the petition is this your tax return. Has anything changed since you filed.
    Nothing to be afraid of

      Hi KP1980:

Welcome to the forum. Other than your ID as in DL with picture and your SS card, you do not need to bring anything else, unless instructed by your attorney. Just answer everything 'Yes' or 'No' as appropriate. Do not embellish any answers.

      Good luck to you.

If you have an attorney, consult with them. They should tell you what, if anything, you need to bring to your 341.

Everyone is different. I didn't have to bring anything, not even IDs or social security cards. Some have to bring that, plus more documentation.

Okay first off stay calm. Here is a little checklist:

            1. You must bring valid photo ID (Either Driver's License, Passport or State ID)
            2. You must bring your Social Security Card.

Without those 2 the meeting will be continued to the next month.

            3. Do not bring electronic devices including cell phones or cameras with you. (If you do the security will take them, they will give back after you leave).
            4. Do not bring children (This is a courtroom, and generally speaking it is crowded, noisy and boring to children).
            5. Do not wear expensive jewelry (If you do and the trustee sees it, he is likely to check his paperwork and if its not there he can request it on the spot....simple wedding band if married, simple watch are adequate)
            6. Do not wear a new suit (Do not go out and buy a new suit. Wear what you might wear on a date or to eat at a good restaurant)

            Last but most important:

            BE ON TIME

If you are no there when the Trustee calls your name, he can dismiss your case.
