We already gave the car back but our account is still showing up online with a balance owed. Today I noticed that they subtracted $2432.81 from our balance with a note; Repo Writedown at BOS
I have searched online and cannot find anything about this. First of all they have the vehicle back. We were never late so technically I dont consider it a repo. but rather my right under the bankruptcy law.
The thing thats bothering me is we still show as owing a balance of more than $5000.
Anyone know what a write down is and how exactly this affects me?
As long as they are still showing a car loan under our name and account number I feel compelled to be concerned with what they are doing.
