    Joint Debt / Authorized User

I used the search forums and got the following link.

    http://www.bkforum.com/search.php?searchid=814010

    My question is this...

I have 100K in unsecured debt. The only things that I'm joint with my wife on is the following:

Lexus loan (only 10 months left)

I have a few credit cards that I'm was an Authorized User but was removed. She is an authorized user on a few of mine, HOWEVER NONE of these are joint cards we applied for together. Will she be liable for these debts? When we say joint do we mean something that we both signed on or a card that is an authorized user?

Do you have to state on your tax return you have filed bankruptcy?

so an authorized user doesn't really mean anything? I figured they could say since she charged on my card she would then take them over.

I'm going to a good attorney on Wednesday so hopefully he can really answer all of my questions and give me some type of relief.

Does anyone know if your wife has to attend any of the court sessions? I'm assuming it's impossible to hide the filing from your spouse?
