Quick Question. We filed for BK in May and had our 341a meeting on June 25th and no one contested before Aug 25th, but we did have a mortgage bank request for an extension to see if they were going to file for fraud. I was told that this request would not process the rest of the debt from going through the chapter 7. It is now October 5th and we still have not received our BK discharge papers. We are in Orange County, CA - I am unsure if specific counties have longer processing delays. Anyone have any advice? Does it usually take this long to process?
