Filed today too! But still question?

Hello all =) We went to the lawyers office just to "sign" our paperwork today... but our lawyer informed us that since we were able to get them all of the documents that the trustee would ask for, our petition is going to be FILED today.... I know we are far from over, but this hump has been long awaited! I am still a little nervous though. I kept asking my lawyer for reassurance that everything would be okay, and she kept saying all was fine because we completely qualified for a chapter 7. My question is... Does that sound like reassurance? These lawyers specialize in bk and file at least 35 petitions a month. And they seem to be on top of things......

Yes if the lawyer is that confident and you have not hid any assets or information from them they you should be fine.

if you got nothing to hide your fine. The hardest part now is just waiting. My 341 was schedule 7 weeks after I filed. . . . now I'm waiting for discharge

I agree, If your lawyer is that confident and you have been forthcoming, you shouldnt have a problem.

It is normal to be nervous, I was nervous from the day I met my lawyer until discharge. Thoughts of what will go wrong to prevent my discharge. These thoughts are hard to keep out of your head no matter how much reassurance you receive believe me.

But if everything is truthful and everything is disclosed you have nothing to worry about just remember that and take solace in that and everything will be ok
