Just a quick note to share our experience. Had our 341 this morning...my heart was racing. It took about 7 minutes total. The trustee was VERY nice and even helped us find humor in all this. The US Trustee came up for our hearing (but not for any of the other before us). I would have been surprised by this if I hadn't been reading these boards...thanks to all of you I was somewhat expecting it and was prepared. My attorney certainly didn't warn us. He just wanted to know why our debt was so high. Over 400k, about 200k business and another 200k personal (unsecured). We told him my husband (in the building industry) had been very slow with work and we used the cards for living expenses and toward remodeling our home -- all the truth.
I just wanted to thank everyone here for sharing and helping us through this situation so far. I just hope and pray that we make it through the objection period unscathed.
