    341 done and over with!

I thought I should post how our 341 went yesterday since reading all the threads on here helped me along the way.

Hubby and I arrived an hour early and watched the clock. I was nervous, but happy to be there that early. Eventually, once our attorney arrived, we had to check in with our trustee's paralegal. She sat at a desk outside the conference room and checked everyone's paperwork, identification etc. before you got called for your 341. I guess the trustee likes to make sure everything is there before he'll see you and has his paralegal do that for him. Once that was done, our attorney lead us into a somewhat small conference room where the trustee sat. There was no one in there, it was empty with the exception of the trustee's assistant and the man scheduled to go after us, who had our same attorney on his case. They space each hearing apart by 30 minutes which is nice because it allows for more privacy. I was happy about that as I expected a big, people filled courtroom. Our attorney sat right there with us through our questioning. He and the trustee discussed an arrangement for us to buy our cars back and that was the main thing discussed. Then he asked us the basics that we have filled out over and over again like, "do you own any firearms"..."have you listed all your assets"..."how much money was on you the day you filed?" They were very generic and simple questions. It was relaxed and laid back feeling. The trustee even made small talk and laughed with us a couple of times.

I will admit that I worried and was nervous for our 341, but looking back there was no need. If you have been honest and upfront then it's honestly just a "formality" for your case. We had no creditors show up.

I wish all future 341'rs the best of luck and please don't stress too much about this event, it's nowhere near as nerve wracking as the picture you paint in your head.

I welcome myself to the 60 day club. I thought this day would NEVER come.
