    Chapter 7, then divorce

First time post here, and it's been a pleasure reading these topics...

I had my signing on Nov 4 (the Day of New Beginnings, right?) and after just a few more documents fowarded to my atty, then it will be filed by next week.

I am going to re-aff two vehicles (about 16K total -- a 2007 Taurus and 2000 Explorer)...I am also going to re-aff my acreage that my wife and I purchased...(my grandparents' ol' farm in the country...still owe about $75K jointly on that)....

After the BR then its time to move forward with the divorce. She filed about a month ago, but we understand the BR will take precedence over the divorce proceedings.

We currently split payments on the house, but I am going to re-affirm so I can keep the farm....I am wondering what may happen though as we move thru the divorce process??

Nice thing is the divorce was a mutual decision and we are being civil and she' s definately working with me, as our kids ( age 6/11) like to spend weekends at my house in the country.

It's nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel, even though some areas of the tunnel seem a bit grey at the moment...Anyone else have a similar situation?

I am trying to figure out why you are filling and then doing re-affs you are reversing your BK and on an 8 year old car think long and hard about those.
My divorce 3 years ago is what got me here it was very mutual she got my 360K house and she was very happy I paid 27K in attorney fees since she wrote letters to her lawyer to send to mine sometimes 3 and 4 a week.
Be very careful go see your OWN divorce lawyer before you go through with this
