Pro Se and need to arrange 341 telephonically

How do I go about getting a 341 hearing by telephone. I just cannot afford to fly from Texas to New Jersey. Not only will I need to pay for airfare but I will also have to pay for lodging. I have also started a new job. I sent a motion in requesting stating that financially I cannot afford to make the meeting. I tried to use frequent flier miles but I just do not have enough with the increase in requirements that Continental now has in place. What do you think are my chances? I have to be in Newark by the 20th of this month.

By the way I also sent in a copy of my eviction papers with the motion. It showed that I was evicted from my apartment in NJ three days after my filing. The court has already waived my filing fees and they have also reset my 341 date once already. The motion and eviction papers were sent to the courts. Should I also contact the trustee ?

I filed and I was also battling eviction. I had applied to Public assistance and I was waiting for them to determine if they would assist me in paying back the back rent. However, they still did not make a determination and I just ran out of time and went to the courts to try and get them give me an extention. They basically gave me a three day orderly removal which gave me till the 29th of the month. I filed on the 26th of the month.

So you moved to Texas?? Is that what you are saying?
Call the court, tell them the situation. They will most likely tell you to contact the trustee.

Yes, I did move to Texas to stay with a friend. I guess I should call the Trustee on Monday. So I should not have sent the motion into the courts ?

Since you are pro se, have you contacted your estate's trustee? That might be a place to start.
