    credit certification prior to filing

    I would like to take the online class and get the certificate, however I dont have a printer. If I were to take the class at home can I then later print the certificate at work?

    I took mine at Greenpath and they allowed me to download a pdf( adobe) certificate. They also had my attorney in their system and emailed my Certificate to them. They are not the cheapest. However, with my attorney being on there and it being online I used them.

      I did mine over the phone, and I think the company was called Money Management, or something like that. They either faxed or emailed my attorney a copy of the certificate as soon as I was done on the phone with them.
      Filed: 5/22/07; 341 Hearing: 6/27/07;
      Confirmed: 8/13/07; DISCHARGED 4/17/2012

          I started a course with CFEFA.org and they wanted a copy of my driver's license and social security card before they would let me proceed. They are an approved course with the state of FL. I checked with the US Trustee site.

          Do they all want these copies before proceeding with the course?

            I don't think GreenPath did. I don't remember faxing them anything. I can't see why they would need it. It's not like you don't present your ID to the Trustee when you go to your 341?

                  My lawyer gave me a card with a code on it. I put the code in and her name popped up and she automatically got it

                    It depends on which agency you use. If they don't send it to your attorney it will be your responsibility to give it to them for your BK paperwork.
                    That is why I went with the company I did. I thought it was beneficial for all parties that they send it to my attorney and I was able to download a copy for myself.

                      yes

                      after taking the credit counseling. you will call them and they wil ask you some question, just to confirm that you were the one who took it. and then they wil email you, or fax you. advise them that you dont have a printer, if you have a lawyer let them know that they could fax it at their office. or send you by email. so you may open it anywhere you are.
