what about my car

i am about to file a ch 7 and waana include my car i am financing..i cant afford the payments,i do have a co signer,,he is gonna file a few months after i file..i do need transportation after i let the car go i wont have transportation..how do i save when paying for the car before i have to turn it over? during the stay can i stop paying and save the money toward another car..pleazse advise

I see no reason to continue to pay on a car after you filed if you intend to give it up.
