I just read online that in LA a homeless man was sentenced to 4 years in jail (that part i get) and ordered to pay $101 million dollars for starting fires. Where is he going to even get $1 million? Secondly in my hometown news...several people complained about breathing difficulty and 2 employees were taken to the hospital when 3 bottles of household bleach spilled at the dock at Walmart. Huh? I admit it has a strong odor but can anyone say workers comp claim?

My mom is really sensitive to bleach. She can just use a little bit of it on the counters and go off on a 5 minute coughing fit, I can't imagine what would happen with that much poured out on the floor. Also, if there were any other chemicals on the floor (cleaners, ammonia, etc) the bleach could have reacted with it and gave off toxic fumes.
The homeless man thing is a bit extreme though, I can understand putting the guy in jail, but a fine of that size is just ridiculous. -
Thats weird for sure, but at least hes not homeless anymore. Seriously he has a roof over his head now...Comment
