I go to the 341 meeting on the December 8th if every thing goes smooth when should i be discharged. afreind told me around 60-90 days than i have to wait to see if the creditors fight after another 30 days is this correct.

    Thanks for any help.

There is a mandatory 60 day waiting period, you will receive your discharge sometime after that 60 days. The exact time you get discharged depends on the administrative efficiency of your BK court and trustee.

From the date of the 341 meeting, there is a 60 day waiting period. If nobody objects by the deadline then your case should be discharged/closed anywhere from days to months, all depends. I was discharged 5 days from my deadline yet some people have to wait weeks or months.
        Filed Chapter 7: 8/13/08
        341 Meeting: 9/15/08
Last Day To File Objections: 11/14/08
        Discharged & Closed: 11/18/08

You will be fine. There is nothing to object to in a Ch 7 case, no assets. This came from my district manager at Citi financial when I worked there.
          9/22/2009 - officially filed chapter 7
          11/03/2009 - scheduled 341 - COMPLETED
01/04/2010 - last day for objections
          01/11/2010 - DISCHARGED & CLOSED

The exact day of your bar date, which is the last day for creditors to file objections, is listed on your Notice of Commencement, the official notice the Court sent you when you filed.

              Good luck!
