I am not sure wether to let it foreclose or try to sell it... I cannot put it on the market until after discharge right?
some houses are selling cheap but we do have some on the street selling for what I owe or even 10-20k more.. so it is hard to tell as apprasials are all over the place.
we are wanting to make a decision that will be best for our fresh start if we get our discharge due early feb, 341 on dec 10th
the house payment is too much for what we want... $600 a month too much so we can either foreclose and save the money before we get evicted for a rental or try to sell and walk away with no money or maybe a little.
My only thought on trying to sell is.... we want to stay in the town so it is a quieter way of doing things and also.. if we get our discharge early feb, then maybe 6 months later move out.... will it go on the credit much later than the bankruptcy..so hindering our chances of getting approved again for another mortgage..... or will it not matter much to the credit for another mortgage seeing as how a chpater 7 will be on there anyhow... what would you do?
