i have been trying to decide if i want to move or keep my double wide mobile home on five acres....it would be cheeper to stay where im at.....
but, it is really getting hard to find an underwriter for this kind of residence, even with good credit...

i called my agent and asked if he would renew my policy if i had a bk... he said no and that it will be hard and expensive to find any....

i guess that helps me make up my mind about moving... i would be in a bad situation when its renewal time...

doesn't the state itself offer home owners insurance?

What you have will be hard to find, but maybe it is time to move. Though wouldn't the same thing arise if they ask about BK down the road?

I would enjoy a doublewide with 5 acres & that would be hard to let go of.
