    Need affordable attorney (Texas)

I am getting ready to file in Texas. I need help finding a reliable and economic attorney in the Dallas metro area. I can't really afford the $2500-$3000 that alot of the attorneys that i have called want. I have a simple case, only credit card debt, I do have a mortgage and 2 cars financed also.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Travis

Honestly, if you have a simple case, you can probably do it on your own. I met with a lawyer here in Dallas and the free consult answered a lot of my questions. We then decided to do it pro-se. I did buy the Nolo book and it was extremely helpful.
    Filed Chp 7 Pro-Se 8/1/08
    341 - 09/03/08
    Discharged 11/5/08

Im sure you may have checked. If you haven't though, Check that your place of work doesn't have a prepaid legal plan in your benefits package. My CH7 cost a total of $329 and that includes the classes and filing fee.
BTW anything I say here is just me yapping based on my experience. Your milage may vary.

          check http://www.nacba.org/
Of course, caveat emptor applies. Not all attorneys listed are great attorneys. But it's a resource for you to find some to check out.

FINALLY DISCHARGED 92 DAYS AFTER THE 341! A NEW START!!!
