Do I have to list this on my list of creditors? I was placed on Chexsystems in 2002 for NSF from a local bank. I just remembered this now as I was thinking if I left anything out.

I wouldn't think you would have to add Chexsystems to your list of creditors, but I would definately add the bank that reported you. Since you said you were reported to Chexsystems in 2002, the actual reporting should have fell off by now because they only keep records of the reportings for 5 years. It should have came off in 2007, but the actual debt that is owed to the bank is still owed.Originally posted by sparkle12 View PostDo I have to list this on my list of creditors? You should include the checking account that is in arrears, even though the SOL may have run out. You don't need an exact amount. Use a ballbark figure. Go over rather than under.Originally posted by sparkle12 View PostIt's so long ago now that I don't know how much it was.

I'm not sure what the "SOL" for collecting on debts is for your state, but if you don't list the bank, it is possible that they may try to collect on the debt later on down the road. I would include them just to be on the safe side.Originally posted by sparkle12 View PostWould I get in trouble for not listing in?Filed: 5/22/07; 341 Hearing: 6/27/07;

Mine was listed
They sent it to a collection agency so I listed it.
It was a result of a setoff by Wells fargo which caused my house payment to bounce as well as a bunch of other bills, utilities and such.
That's why I wrote in a thread a long time ago to switch banks if you owe them on any type of debt.Very fortunate in the grand scheme of things but have learned my lesson.
