Does my Drivers license need to have my current address on the petition? Its still has my old address, i have yet to change it. Will this be a problem? I have my meeting tmrw at 2:15pm. I was just wondering if i should go get a new DL asap!

I am not for sure, but i'd say not. You should make sure the DMV has your current address though, for other reasons. They just give you this little brown card to keep with your old one. But I have read that the trustee does verbally ask you if you still reside at such and such address which im guessing would be what you filled in on your paperwork

Gem561.. I have the Same Question. I moved and still have my old Address on my License didnt really want to go and get new ones the lady police at the place to get them are such snobs.

And plus they run out next year so i was going to wait till i had to get new ones to update my address.

Although my 341 is monday and i would hate for the Trustee to tell me to come back after i update them.

The address on my DL is from 3 moves ago! We have 12 year Dl's here and almost nobody has their correct address on the card. Trustee didn't even question it at our meeting.

I updated my address online and just printed out the confirmation page and carried that with me for the longest time until I put my license through the wash. Never had any trouble with it when I got pulled over. I just gave both to the trustee and he had no problem with it. Hubby's had a previous addresson them and when asked about it he said it was a previous address, the trustee looked at the paperwork, saw it was listed and we moved on. You should be ok.

Thanks so much! I updated my info online today. It was a sinch! So, ill just bring the paper i printed out with me tomorrow

I live in california.... so it was cadmv.gov or google dmv and it will lead you to your states dmv page. I think thats how i did it....
