and basically none of it works if you have a fixed rate loan and are not behind..Im looking at a divorce, having filed Chapter 7 recently. Tried to do a loan mod. with Countrywide, but since I am current, no help is available. "Hope for Homeowners" program is a joke, none of the lenders have ANY information. It was supposed to be implemented 12/01/2008, but still no information from Feds or funds to implement..Supposedly to qualify for HFH you can ONLY have a sub-prime loan and must be 5 months behind..
well that sucks. sorry to hear you going through a divorce! I haven't found any information about it and Litton Loan will not return calls, not answer anything!!!! They are making me extremely angry.
