There was a judgement entered against me 3 years ago.My wages were being garnished until I stopped working for my previous employer.I have been at a different job for the past year now and was wondering does the company that has a judgement against me would they have to go back to court and get a new judgement so they will be able to garnish my wages at my new employer or can they just start garnishing my new wages automatically

No new judgement needed. They will send your new employer a copy of the order. -
They don't have to get a new judgment, but they will probably have to go back and get a new garnishment order (but doing so is really not that challenging or expensive for the creditor).Originally posted by nicole38 View PostComment
