As part of a start up (which will be worth good money in the future) I borrowed to purchase stock.
So here is my question; Can I reaffirm this debt?
The loan is for 50k the current value of the shared based on current valuation of the company is 40k. The loan is secured by the share certificates.
In two years the stock will be worth 150k if company continues on current trajectory.
Part 2, If I own options on other shares that are under water, granted at $10.00 currently valued at $8.00 do I have to declare this as I don't own the stock simply the right to purchase in the future.
Part 3, If have shares that are not vested do they count?
