    tomorrow is the day

Well, the day I have been waiting for for 5 months is finally here. Tomorrow I have my 341 meeting. I am so burned out with thinking about all of this that I am not really that nervous. Okay...I am frantic!! Just wish me luck. I am going to go vomit now.

BELIEVE ME...........we have all been there done that "throw-up" bit!!!

    You are not alone,

Just hang in there - CALM DOWN A LITTLE - and hopefully it will all be over for you soon.....

NOT KNOWING - absolutely kills the nervous system.....

But it will ALL be alright - more than likely!!!

    Hang tough............

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

My husband and I go to the 341 meeting today also. I meant to do a drive-by to see how parking was and to see if we knew exactly where the building was, but yesterday was hectic. So, our meeting is at 10:30, but I plan to be downtown around 9:30am. Too bad I just finished the book I'm reading and the library doesn't open until 10am, so I can't get the next book in the series. (Might as well do something other than worry while we're waiting.)

We got there early, before court actually started, so we got to see quite a few cases before us. That helped alot.
The only advice I can give you is to take a copy of your petition, dl, ss#, bank statements, and tax returns. Try and keep busy today. Keep the immodium handy.
Let us know how it comes out.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....

We had our 341 about 3-weeks ago.
The worst part was all the worry about it. I think we all share those emotions about thinking about the actual day. Afterall, it is finally making it all real.
But, to tell you the truth, it is a brief time in court and then a TREMENDOUS lift to know that it is over and that you are on the road to a better life....as a much smarter individual when it comes to financial matters.
Remember, BK is a tool to help one start over.
The 341 will be over quickly. And as the song goes...."turn the page"!
          All the best!

I concur with AnnieG. It is probably the fear of the unknown. It does help that you can share your experiences with others. We stressed over filing for almost a year (well actually about 4 years, tried debt consolidation first). Finally came to the conclusion that we couldn't keep up with the minimum payments and were living off cards and from pay day to pay day.
I wished that things had been different, but we did what we had to do. I have learned alot about myself, as well as the ability to see in the future and not live with assumptions.
Best of luck to you. Keep us posted. We all need good news.
