I have a couple of questions about employment after the 341 meeting but before the Chapter 7 discharge.
My 341 meeting is on 1/13 and I am currently unemployed. If I am fortunate enough to obtain employment after the 341 meeting it would really help, as I have to move either in February or March from my house and need money for the first months rent/deposit (and future expenses such as utilities, food, etc).
The first question is if that occurred, am I required to go back to the trustee and let them know?
Also do existing creditors continue to check your credit report after the 341 meeting? In the event that a potential future employer ran a credit report on me, the creditor(s) would see the inquiry (right?) and perhaps this would cause them to raise an objection or contact the trustee? Not sure if this has happened to anyone else...
Please keep in mind that this wasnt a BK that I could plan in advance, I was laid off from my job, and I am really scrambling to try and accomplish the Chapter 7 and keep a roof over my head, food, etc.
Many thanks for your help.
